Colorado Remodelers is a "design / build" company, which means that we can handle all facets of the project. If your project is extremely complex we may suggest bringing in an architect, engineer or interior designer, but we can usually do it all in-house.
Regardless of what your remodeling project is, we like to start our meetings with two questions:
1. What's your budget?
2. What work would you like completed?
Sometimes, that's as far as we get because the client says they want granite, new cabinets, appliances, and a fresh coat of paint in their kitchen, but their budget is only $30K.
It is important that you have realistic expectations given your budget and the work you want performed.
Here are some general numbers to help you build your kitchen or bath budget:
- Granite & Quartz - $100+ sf
- Tile Backsplash - $30+ sf
- Cabinets - $300+ per cabinet
- Flooring - $5-20 sf
- Electrical - $100+ hour
- Plumbing - $100+ hour
- Appliances - $700 - $3,000 per appliance

What's your budget?
This is a critical starting point, and you need to decide what you'd "like" to spend, and the upper limit that you can actually afford.
Kitchen remodels in Colorado start at about $20,000 for a minor remodel, and $70,000+ for a full remodel.
Bathroom remodels typically range from $10,000 to over $30,000.
